PROJECTS
My work in the arts community ranges from long term projects like serving as Producing Artistic Director for Four Seasons Theatre and as Production Manager for UW Varsity Band Show to large-scale campus and community events like 2013 and 2016 programs with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and major anniversary events for the Overture Center, Wisconsin Public Radio, and Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra (WYSO).
Founded in 2005, Four Seasons Theatre uses music and theatre to share stories and build community. We produce shows and events in theaters across Madison and offer quality outreach programs at retirement communities, civic organizations, and high schools across the greater Madison area.
The UW Varsity Band Show is entertainment at its best – a 275+ person marching band and decades of Badger Band traditions! Each year we bring this extravaganza to 25,000+ in one weekend at the Kohl Center and to thousands across the country via the Wisconsin Public Television broadcast.
Festival Founder Shasparay Lighteard produced the first Black Arts Matter Festival in March 2019. She began working on the business plan in Fall 2018 Arts Entrepreneurship Class and I served as her First Wave Faculty Mentor in Spring 2019.
I served as Production Manager and provided artistic leadership for the February 2016 50th Anniversary event for the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra.
I served as the Production Manager and provided artistic leadership for the Wisconsin Public Radio 100th Anniversary Event that took place in October 2017 at Overture Center.
As production manager for the Overture Center Kaleidoscope Event in October 2014, Â IÂ collaborated with the ten resident organizations, Overture Center staff, and a core production team of Madison theatre professionals to create a unique 10th anniversary celebration.
The Madison Early Music Festival was an intergenerational program that brought together musicians, scholars, teachers, and music enthusiasts for a weeklong workshop, lecture series, and concert series each July.  After working as a Bolz Center student intern with MEMF from 2003-2005, I joined the Advisory Board and served in that capacity until 2015. From 2015-2020 I served as Program Director, working with Co-Artistic Directors Cheryl Bensman-Rowe and Paul Rowe to coordinate the event.
In 2013 and 2016 I served as the production manager for events with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Presented by the Center for Healthy Minds and the Global Health Institute, the events featured some of the world’s most respected thought leaders discussing how neuroscience, environments, economics, and healthcare can combine to make the world a healthier, happier place.
I joined the staff of Forward Theater early in their existence, working alongside Artistic Director Jen Uphoff Gray and dedicated Staff, Board, and AC members as the company grew to the powerhouse that it is today. Serving as General Manager and Production Manager, I was part of the staff from the 2010-2011 season through February 2015.
